Do as our dear Uncle advises:  "Click" or Call right now!

TODAY is DAY 10 of KSQM’s Fall Fund Drive and we have a great line-up of interviews today.   Civic leaders are coming in to share information about their organizations and to help support KSQM during our Fall Fund Drive.

This morning at 8:15 TRISH will welcome ASTRID RAFFINPEYLOZ,  VOLUNTEER SERVICES MANAGER AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE CO-CHAIR AT VOLUNTEER HOSPICE OF CLALLAM COUNTY.  Their mission is to provide compassionate care for the terminally ill, their caregivers and their family.  Just like the rest of the staff and many volunteers at Volunteer Hospice, Astrid found her heart in hospice many years ago through witnessing how simple, rich, and profound, end of life can be.  More information about Volunteer Hospice is available online at VHOCC (dot) ORG.

Then, during the 10 o’clock hour, join The Real DICK GOODMAN as he welcomes COURTNEY NESTLER of PENNIES for QUARTERS. Courtney Nestler is the owner of Bright Light Solutions, a marketing company specializing in social media. Her background includes public relations and corporate communications. She and her family moved from Tampa Bay, Florida to the Olympic Peninsula in the summer of 2016 and will be stationed here until 2020 as her husband is on active duty with the Coast Guard. Courtney is passionate about helping others and building community as she serves on the board for Pennies for Quarters.

At Noon, join OLIVE MARTINI as she welcomes BARB BRABANT, PRESIDENT  OF WELFARE FOR ANIMALS GUILD (also known as “WAG”).  Since 2001, WAG  has been Sequim’s  only all-dog, no kill rescue group.  They are a non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible, and 100% of donations go directly to the care and rehabilitation of the dogs prior to their adoption.  Prior to adoption, all rescues are spayed/neutered, receive all vaccines, are micro-chipped, and all other medical needs are addressed.  WAG has placed over 1,500 dogs into new, loving homes. WAG’s web site is WAG SEQUIM WA (dot) COM
