Fire District 3 Fire Chief Ben Andrews Is urging residents to discard and replace Kidde brand fire extinguishers because they can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge them. As a result, they can fail to activate during an emergency. Chief Andrew’s advisory was issued after a nationwide recall was announced by the Kidde fire extinguisher company last week. The recall involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: those with plastic handles and push-button Pindicator fire extinguishers. The company says there have been approximately 391 reports of failed or limited activation or nozzle detachment, including on fatality, approximately 16 injuries, including smoke inhalation and minor burns, and 91 reports of property damage. The fatality occurred following a car crash in 2014 when emergency responders could not get the recalled Kidde fire extinguishers to work.
The song is all about turkeys. And straw. And Grass. And various musical instruments.
And, (contrary to the activities demonstrated by the boys), we encourage safe sax.
