Tom Boller Announcer

KSQM Volunteer since 2014.

Biography:

Western Pennsylvania native from Beaver Falls, PA. Yes, the same hometown as “Broadway Joe” Namath. They say that variety is the spice of life. My lifetime of “spice” includes careers as a steelworker, career  soldier/firefighter, Park Ranger at Mt Rushmore, as an Emergency Dispatcher at Tripler Army Medical  Center, Hawaii. To go along with variety of careers, Tom and his wife  Cindy moved 8 times in a 20 year Army career and followed that with 2 years of fulltime RVing. These adventures allowed them to see many places they had contemplated retiring to including Sequim, which they visited in 2008. After resigning from Tripler Army Medical in July 2012, Tom and Cindy returned to the mainland and purchased their first (and last) home in Sequim. Life is good here in Sequim. I enjoy playing the ukulele and a little acoustic guitar, bicycling, walking, and volunteering here at KSQM and at Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. What kind of music do I enjoy? Mostly 50s, 60s, 70s, and a touch of the 80s. Tom can be heard on After Dinner With Tom, Monday & Tuesday evenings 6-9pm.
