Sequim’s newest famous resident is a Steinway “BOSTON” piano with an interesting history—Honoring Aretha Franklin and Jennifer Hudson, the Respect  Diva piano has a bright future at its new home in the KSQM studios.

As part of a mini-concert series to celebrate the wonderful  gift of the Diva Piano and Aretha Franklin’s birthday, Jean Lenke and Sarah Shea will perform on Saturday, March 25th at 5 PM in KSQM’s community room.  As a tribute for Aretha’s birthday there will be a special NOTES BY NORTHWEST program, hosted by Dougla Furr, broadcast LIVE on 91.5 at 6PM.

With a suggested donation of ten dollars per person, the event is open to the public and no reservation is required, although space is limited. Refer to the KSQM Facebook page for additional daily performances.
