I work in an office here in Tacoma and I have been trying to keep this plant alive !! It gets watered every Friday, and it just struggles and struggles and then low and behold, last week it sprouted flowers!! It just looks so hopeless!  Is there something we should be doing besides water to keep the leaves green? The ivy in the base of the pot is thriving but not so much about the plant!
